Condition Guide – How We Grade Vintage Adult Magazines

  • Our most common high-grade description.

  • Virtually no wear – maybe the tiniest corner tip rub or faint spine stress from careful storage.

  • Covers bright and glossy, no tears/creases/writing, pages clean.

  • Looks almost unread.

  • Phrase we use: “Excellent/Near Mint – barely touched, bright and beautiful. Ready to tease you all over again 😏”

Very Good

  • Honest, attractive reading copy with light signs of use.
  • Minor spine stress, light corner dings, small edge rubs, or faint cover soiling.
  • No major tears, writing, or missing pages.
  • Still looks great on the shelf and feels fantastic in hand.
  • Phrase we use: “Very Good – light reading wear but still full of naughty charm and crisp pages!”

Good

  • Well-read but complete and enjoyable.
  • Noticeable wear: spine roll/crease, small edge tears, cover creases, or light staining.
  • Pages intact and readable, no major damage.
  • Great value option for casual fans who just want the content.
  • Phrase we use: “Good – honest reading copy with character. All the retro thrill is still here!”

Fair / Acceptable

  • Heavy wear but all pages present and readable.
  • Larger tears, writing, loose pages, or significant cover damage.
  • Sold only as budget fillers or for specific content.
  • Phrase we use: “Fair – well-loved but complete. Perfect if you just want the forbidden story inside.”

Important Notes:

  • We never sell magazines major water damage, or strong odors.
  • All magazines are stored smoke-free and in a cool, dry place.
  • If a magazine has any unique flaws (e.g., small address label, subscription crease), we mention it clearly in the listing.
